Artist Statement:
Marisas work is a personal renaissance, constantly evolving. Her fascination with finding "just the right blue," the powerful, richness of gray oil and the brilliance of gold oil, the sexiness of black charcoal in juxtaposition with bright color, movement in the sea, sky, and foliage are currently within her area of exploration. In addition to commissioned paintings, Marisa is also working on interior installations, with the knowledge that the space around us influences mood and therefore should be carefully crafted to create the best quality of life. Her vision is to incorporate her art into interior design concepts.
