Artist Statement:
John is a diverse artist and designer, living in the San Francisco Bay Area. His day job consists of making homes beautiful for the resale housing market. He also does consulting for interior design and product development. As a self taught artist in his early twenties, John designed packaging and graphics for his successful perfume and aromatherapy line, which became well known by the discriminating public, including the likes of numerous Hollywood celebrities. Ten years ago, John changed his pace by moving to SF and working for the internationally renown designer, Ken Fulk. In recent years, John has returned to painting on paper and canvas. He has also recently, undertaken a new form of design in the realm of home lighting design and accessory design. Many of his influences come from his very colorful history of having lived in London, Copenhagen and Northern India.
